Mr.
McGuire's practice focuses
on personal injury litigation.
He has a wide range of experience
handling maritime, product
liability, wrongful death
and other contract and tort
claims for domestic and international
clients. Mr. McGuire has experience
in all phases of litigation,
including mediation, discovery,
law and motion, trial, appeals
and complex settlements in
both state and federal courts
and before arbitrators and
regulators throughout the
country.
Mr. McGuire
represents clients in litigation
matters involving, among other
areas, maritime and product
liability claims in the commercial
and recreational diving industries,
breach of contract, fraud,
unfair business practices
(B&P Code §§
17200, et seq.), employment,
fraudulent transfers, and
commercial and residential
real estate, including class-actions
involving a variety of industries.
Mr. McGuire
performs these services for
individuals, corporations,
limited liability companies,
insurers, diving equipment
manufacturers, scuba instructors,
dive store owners, retailers,
real estate owners and developers,
and industry associations.
Mr. McGuire
has a Bachelor of Science
from the University of Southern
California and a Juris Doctor
from the Syracuse University
College of Law where he was
Editor of the Syracuse Law
& Technology Journal.
He is a PADI certified Rescue
Diver, Nitrox Diver and a
SDI/TDI and IANTD Closed Circuit
Rebreather Diver. Mr.
McGuire is also a former United
States Marine and served as
a tank commander during the
1991 Persian Gulf War.
