Richard A. Lesser
Mr. Lesser virtually invented the field of scuba litigation. Having been involved in the fledgling diving industry in the late 1950’s, he began his career focusing on sport and commercial diving litigation. While this has been the focus of his pratice over the past 35 years of his legal career, Mr. Lesser also represents clients in personal injury, product liability, wrongful death, maritime and other contract and tort claims in litigation matters nationwide. He is an experienced trial lawyer having successfully tried numerous cases to verdict.
Michele Nelson Bass
Michele Nelson Bass has been involved with recreational scuba litigation for nearly twenty years. She left the well-known maritime law firm of Keesal, Young and Logan in 1990 to help Mr. Lesser start a boutique firm with a focus on the defense of recreational scuba diving claims. Since that time she has been involved in all aspects of litigation (from discovery through appellate brief writing) involving wrongful death, product liability, admiralty/maritime, professional negligence and employment related claims. She is a very experienced trial lawyer and has successfully tried jury cases in State and Federal Courts all over the country.
Steven M. McGuire
Mr. McGuire is an experienced litigator handling a broad spectrum of litigation claims, including personal injury, product liability, premises liability, wrongful death and other contract and tort claims for domestic and international clients. Mr. McGuire performs these services for individuals, corporations, limited liability companies, insurance companies, retailers, industry associations, product manufacturers, and other clients.
